where i’ll be for the whole year: new zealand!

taking a sabbatical and backpacking for a year! i leave tonight.

everyday after work, i have a hard time getting into my girls with glasses tumblr. all my other tumblr works fine. i wonder if it’s on a bad server or something?

we need more focus on ashley judd in the congo and angelina jolie in pakistan, but instead we get snooki. i don’t give a crap about what snooki says or does…

so today one of my project manager asked me what my background was. in my head i was thinking “cambodian” but then i asked what she meant by that and she meant what my background was in term of degree and employment. haha. silly me.

i told her i graduated with a degree in ethnic studies and minor in communications with emphasis in media. but i told her i’ve actually worked at a different insurance company for about 2.5 years in san diego before moving back to the los angeles area. i’ve had three temp jobs with farmers insurance since then, and my current one was supposed to last 5-8 weeks, but this is the 9th week so far because my project manager and program director likes my work ethic. let’s just say i work smart and not hard. efficiency is the key.

i actually like that it has been extended. hopefully it would be extended again but who knows. more $$$ to fund my **cross fingers** year sabbatical in new zealand. still waitin’ for the damn passport…

i think she wanted me to think about joining farmers for the long run, but i told her i wanted to go into media/production, but who knows what the plan will be after my sabbatical…

man. had one of the weirdest dream this morning about my friend diane. i consider it weird because it was very sexual in nature. like very sexual. and that’s the thing, i don’t really dream about any of my girl friends in any kind of sexual way, but then again i did always have an attraction toward her.

hopefully it doesn’t occupy my mind for the whole day, but i’m pretty sure it will even with work. i haven’t had a dream in a while and that’s the thing, my dreams has this deja vu effect, where it seems to happen/come true 4-5 years down the road…

…and i would think, “i feel like i’ve seen this before”…so i don’t know if this is sayin’ something, but i figure i write this down.
